Donation Policy

At Mother Teresa Charitable Trust (MTCT), we deeply value the generosity of our donors. Your contributions help us carry out our mission to support underprivileged communities through education, healthcare, women empowerment, and social development programs. This Donation Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which donations are accepted, processed, and utilized.


1. Purpose of Donations

All donations made to MTCT are used solely for charitable activities and social welfare projects, including:

  • Education and skill development programs for underprivileged children and youth.
  • Healthcare initiatives, medical aid, and awareness campaigns.
  • Women empowerment, self-employment training, and livelihood projects.
  • Relief efforts during natural disasters or emergencies.
  • Community development and welfare programs.

MTCT ensures that every rupee is utilized transparently and effectively for the betterment of society.


2. Donation Methods

Donations can be made through multiple channels, including:

  • Online payment via secure payment gateways (Credit/Debit Cards, UPI, Net Banking, Wallets).
  • Direct Bank Transfer (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS).
  • Cheque or Demand Draft in favor of Mother Teresa Charitable Trust (MTCT).

All online donations are processed in Indian Rupees (INR).


3. Donation Receipts

  • Upon successful donation, a system-generated acknowledgment receipt will be sent to your registered email address.
  • Donors eligible for 80G Tax Exemption (if applicable) will receive a soft copy of the 80G certificate within 10–15 working days.
  • Please ensure that your contact and email details are correct while making a donation.

4. Refund and Cancellation Policy

  • Donations once made are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
  • In case of a duplicate payment or transaction error, please inform us within 7 working days via email with proof of transaction. We will review and, if verified, process a refund within 15 working days.

5. Tax Exemption Information

All donations made to Mother Teresa Charitable Trust (MTCT) may qualify for tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act (subject to approval/registration status).
Donors should retain their donation receipts and consult their tax advisor for claiming benefits.


6. Data Protection and Privacy

MTCT respects your privacy. Donor information is kept confidential and is not shared, sold, or traded with third parties.
